Be Careful How You Walk

“For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:  For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.”  ~James 1:23-24

I am finding more and more that I have to constantly remind myself of who I am in Christ.   God has shown his grace and mercy to me too many times to count.  Grace or underserved kindness is all part of  salvation (Ephesian 2:8).  However, I nor any of us who call ourselves “Christians” or one who walks with God should take  this divine grace for granted (Romans 6:15).  God forbid.

Instead, we should keep pressing towards the high calling we have in Christ Jesus.  We should remember that we have a cloud of witnesses who are watching us constantly (Hebrews 12:1).  If we keep these things in mind, and continue to pray and seek God (The Savior), then we will indeed have success (Joshua 1:8).  Meanwhile, continued Grace unto you and peace be multiplied~
