Be Careful not to Judge

Romans 3:9-19

The moment we start making one group out to be “the bad people,” we get into a mentality that is closely related to that of a racist mentality, which is hateful.  For example, we make comments such as “these people” influence our children, or don’t let “these people” get near us to influence our daughters and sons.  We believe that they — all of them —  are morally bankrupt.  There are times when we find one who we consider to be “good,” and we even think to ourselves how special “this one” is compared to the rest of “those people.”

In the end, if we want someone to blame for all of this mess in the world we need only to read Ephesians 6:12, which explains that we “wrestle not with flesh and blood…”  So, please don’t judge those who don’t fall under the same lifestyle or group that you favor.   God is our only judge.  We should never judge by outward appearances (1Samuel 16:7).  Instead, learn to live peaceably with one another, and search for those things that are good in an individual. (Romans 12:18).   The Holy Spirit will take care of the rest.  Peace~

Additional note:  This post may pertain to any group, ethnicity, nationality, etc.  No matter how you look at it, we are all just people – good or bad. Again – Peace~
