Walk this way

Romans 6:6 “…Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”

I know.  It’s not easy to live a life that is pleasing to God.  Why?  Well, it’s usually because we try to do it ourselves; As Christians, we try not to sin.  We have to stop trying and just try Him.  He said that you can cast all your cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7).  Remember, you are nothing in this world without Him.  As Jesus said in John 5:30, “By myself I can do nothing…”  Now, if Jesus said He can do nothing how much more defenseless are we?  It’s like going into a battle alone with just your teeth and fist, while the enemy has an army with knives and guns. Who’s going to win?  Therefore, we must put on the full armor of God.  The Bible says that we must:  “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:14-17).  Keep these things in mind when it comes to your daily walk with Jesus Christ, and don’t forget to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God…” (2 Timothy 2:15). Yes, study that word and for all of our sake please don’t forget to pray.  Somebody turn to your neighbor and say: “Neighbor, study that word!”  🙂  Peace~
